sp500 Heatmap — RS Rating × Minervini Trend Score

“Two things must be possessed by people who buy stocks: money and courage.”
(Richard Wyckoff)

KOLの視点KOL Take

Everyone auditing their readiness counts the money. Almost nobody checks the second requirement, because courage is the one thing we all quietly assume we already have.

Core Principle

Two requirements, and only one can be measured in advance. The balance is known to the cent. There is no equivalent reading on the other, and no way to take one except in a position that demands it. Wyckoff is not describing bravado or appetite for risk. Courage here is narrower and more ordinary: the capacity to act on your own method at the moment acting is uncomfortable — to sit through routine adverse movement, to take a loss you already defined and now have to actually book. In each, the analysis is finished; only execution is left. Capital that cannot be deployed when the method calls for it is not in the market; it is a balance.

Trading Application

Courage gets spent rather than possessed. Every decision left open until the moment of pressure draws on the same limited supply, which is why traders who decide everything live run out of nerve before they run out of money. So move the deciding earlier, while nothing is at stake: what makes a candidate qualify, what would make you wrong, what you do in either case. The takeaway: money is the requirement you can count, so audit the other one.
