Darvas built his whole method on the trade following through. When price broke back below the box
that had been carrying it higher, that was his signal the move was over — and he left without
negotiating. The genius isn’t the speed, it’s the absence of hope. Most damaging exits come from
waiting for a reversal to “prove” itself, by which point the small loss has grown teeth.
