Livermore’s claim is structural, not nostalgic. The same setups, the same blow-off tops, the same
breakdowns repeat because the participants are still human. That is exactly why a confirmed trend
deserves more respect than a clever forecast. You are not predicting what the market will do next.
You are recognizing a pattern that has already paid out many times before. Riding a confirmed wave
patiently captures the move that prediction usually misses, because prediction is early and the
trend is what actually pays.

Wait for price and volume to align in the same direction before committing capital. If the move is
happening on thin volume, treat it as noise and stay out. Let the trend prove itself across
multiple sessions, then size into it on a clean entry. Stop trying to call the top or the bottom.
Tops and bottoms are guesses; confirmed trends with volume backing are evidence you can act on.
